Required Skills:

• Experience working with data management is preferred
• At least 2+ years of GoLang experience
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably Postgres and Oracle
• 7+ years of experience working as a hands-on software engineer
• Calm and methodical approach with good communication skills
• Experience with Go and Java
• Experience building systems with a microservice architecture on kubernetes
• Understands and able to drive a modern software development life cycle process
• Plusses
• Experience with putting non-Cloud native applications into kubernetes
• Involvement in OSS communities (not just Postgres, though that’s a double plus!)
• Experience in database administration and management
• Experience working with and building cloud database management systems
• Experience with other open and closed source databases such as SQL Server, and MySQL
• General experience in distributed system architecture and development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
